The Psychology, Health and Ethics Department
Prof. Moshe Zaki leads an academic group comprising senior psychologists in research and clinical practice, and experts in law and ethics. The group cooperates with psychologists' organizations in Israel and the Ministry of Health in the promotion of study and research in the areas of psychology, law and ethics in Israel. Facilities exist for regular dialogue between practitioners, training of experts and provision of advice about research matters.

1. TWO ACADEMIC COURSES AT HAIFA UNIVERSITY
- An accredited course for B.A. students in Psychology Department.
- An accredited course for M. A. students in the Faculty of Law.
The courses, in two different levels (B.A. and M.A. students), expose professional and ethical issues in the scientific and practice relationsliip between Psychology and Law.
The coordinator and lecturer of both courses is Mrs. Anat Livni, LLM -representative of the Department of Psychology, Law and Ethics.
2 AN ACADEMIC COURSE IN PSYCHOTHERAPY AND ETHICS:
The Lecturer Prof. Moshe Zaki. This course is destinated to students from the Unit of Human Communication, Health and Ethics (The International Center for Health, Law and Ethics). This course covers theoretical and practical issues relating professionals with their clients in the domain of emotional intelligence - as consultants in preventive measures of intervention.
3. A New Book in edition titled:
"APPLIED ISSUES IN FORENSIC PSYCHOLOGY"
(The Editors: Dr. David Yagil and Prof. Moshe Zaki)
The book, composed of practical issues in forensic psychology (Civil and
Criminal trials) - suggests techniques of assessment and interventions in
forensic matters.
This book is destinated to mental health professionals offering services to
the Court: psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers and criminologists.
